Responsibilities
- Design and implement JEE software applications.
- Use Eclipse, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, Docker, Jira, and Confluence in software development activities.
- Work with users to understand requirements, demonstrate solutions, elicit feedback, and refine implementations.
- Present solutions at formal and informal design reviews.
- Document designs according to the Government’s system lifecycle methodology.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 5 to 8 years of experience.
- Experience with HTML, JavaScript, CSS, XML, JSON, AWS, jQuery, Angular, React, and SQL.
- Experience with JEE web-tier technologies, including Servlets, Struts, and Spring MVC.
- Experience with EJBs, web services, Unix/Linux, JEE application servers, JMS, JDBC, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Java/JEE experience developing microservices.
- Preferred experience developing fully automated unit tests.
- Strong written and oral communication, problem-solving, multitasking, and collaboration skills.
