Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own integrations between BizFlow workflow applications and customer enterprise systems.
- Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services with JSON and XML payloads, authentication, error handling, and retry logic.
- Build reliable, secure, and observable backend services and integrate data across systems through mapping, transformation, validation, migration, and synchronization.
- Write and tune complex SQL, optimize queries and stored procedures, and maintain relational data integrity and performance.
- Mentor developers through code review, pairing, coaching, and technical direction on a workstream.
- Set backend and integration standards, lead design and code reviews, and document integration designs, configurations, and runbooks.
- Collaborate with front-end developers, business analysts, project and program managers, and customer technical stakeholders.
- Write unit and integration tests, support QA and User Acceptance Testing, and resolve defects.
- Support builds, environment configuration, deployments, and production troubleshooting across application, integration, database, and server layers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10+ years of professional backend development experience with strong hands-on Java.
- Strong SQL skills, including complex queries, relational schemas, query tuning, and stored procedures.
- Production experience building enterprise integrations using REST and SOAP web services and APIs.
- Experience mentoring or leading developers through code review and technical direction.
- Experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, migration, and synchronization across systems.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across application, integration, database, and server layers.
- Ability to learn the BizFlow platform quickly and deeply.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
- Preferred: experience with workflow, BPM, or low-code platforms such as BizFlow, Appian, Pega, Mendix, or ServiceNow.
- Preferred: familiarity with BPMN 2.0, workflow engines, business process modeling, Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, HR or ERP systems, message queues, batch processing, event-driven integration, CI/CD, automated deployment, containerization, regulated environments, Section 508, and HR, healthcare, or public-sector domains.
