Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core STACKIT Cloud services using Go and REST APIs on Kubernetes.
- Own features across the complete software lifecycle under a “you build it, you run it” DevOps philosophy.
- Participate in software architecture design and implement scalable production code.
- Collaborate with engineering teams across IaaS, storage, managed databases, distributed cloud, and runtime domains.
- Learn through structured hands-on training and mentorship from senior engineers.
Requirements
- Be a university student or graduate in Computer Science, a coding academy graduate, or a developer with proven practical software experience.
- Have a strong technical foundation and basic knowledge of Git, Docker, internet protocols, databases, REST APIs, clean code principles, design patterns, and testable, maintainable software.
- Demonstrate interest in Linux, networking, cloud orchestration, and web services.
- Have strong learning and problem-solving abilities and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
- Have business-fluent English skills for collaboration in international teams.
- Prior internship, working student experience, or personal cloud technology projects are beneficial.
