Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software using C/C++ and existing development tools.
- Perform requirements analysis, systems and software architecture, design, integration, testing, verification, and validation.
- Develop and use Python-based test frameworks, test automation, and software coverage tools.
- Support mission systems integration architecture and customer deployments.
- Evaluate hardware/software interfaces, operational performance requirements, and overall system design.
- Support the full software development lifecycle from requirements decomposition through production transition and fielded product support.
- Participate in software leadership, program integration, and customer-site meetings when required.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 12 years of relevant experience, graduate degree with at least 10 years of related experience, or 16 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
- Active Secret U.S. security clearance.
- Preferred experience includes at least 8 years of embedded development and 8 years of C++ systems development.
- Preferred experience includes avionics lifecycle execution, safety-critical software development, DO-178B or later standards, hardware/software integration and testing, and complex military systems.
- Preferred knowledge includes embedded security, encryption, network storage, Gigabit Ethernet, InfiniBand, RADIUS, LDAP, APIs, BSPs, drivers, OpenGL, Vulkan, PTPv2, H.264, and ARINC-818.
- Preferred understanding of Intel x86, ARM, FPGA, SoC, GPP, GPU, embedded system design, release engineering, configuration management, debug and trace analysis, and real-time operating systems.
- Preferred familiarity with VxWorks, LynxOS, Integrity, SELinux, Linux development environments, Bash, Python, DevSecOps, and test automation.
- Preferred software leadership experience such as CSWE, IPTL, or CAM experience.

- No immediate travel is expected, though customer-site travel to St. Louis, Missouri may be required for certain software leadership responsibilities.
