Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-scale production cloud infrastructure for availability, performance, and resilience.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code practices for consistent and efficient deployments.
- Use Linux and networking expertise to improve system performance, security, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into cloud solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and service issues affecting millions of users.
- Contribute to production performance, resilience, developer velocity, and infrastructure tools for frontend and backend developers.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working on live production systems.
- Proficiency in Linux and networking fundamentals.
- Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes fundamentals, internals, and cluster administration.
- Strong understanding of AWS fundamentals, including IAM, networking, and managed services.
- Experience with provisioning and configuration management systems such as Terraform, Ansible, Pulumi, or Chef.
- Strong scripting skills with languages such as Python and Bash.
- Experience with monitoring tools including Prometheus and Grafana.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
