Responsibilities
- Design, review, build, and deploy test automation solutions and frameworks for complex software systems.
- Lead troubleshooting and triage of escalated system issues, identify root causes, resolve defects, and implement process improvements.
- Guide and mentor Test Automation Engineers on automation solutions, scripts, frameworks, and industry standards.
- Collaborate with product management, project management, development teams, and business stakeholders on project, product, and testing objectives.
- Write and execute functional test cases as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
- At least 4 years of test automation experience.
- Technical development experience with multiple programming or scripting languages and Selenium.
- Expertise with Java and SQL queries.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
- Experience independently identifying technical issues, misconfigurations, and code defects.
- Experience developing functional, load, and batch test automation solutions.
- Knowledge of software quality assurance and the role of test automation in the development process.
- Experience with test automation frameworks, design patterns, and distributed version-control systems such as Git.
- Preferred experience with Selenium WebDriver, JUnit, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, JMeter, SoapUI, Jenkins, Maven, and non-functional testing.
