Base Salary
$136k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs.
- Build and support backend systems for product features and workflows.
- Contribute to backend components across design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver product features.
- Support backend system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Write well-tested code and participate in code reviews.
- Participate in on-call rotations and incident response.
- Monitor and debug backend systems to resolve issues.
- Follow established backend engineering best practices.
- Document APIs, data models, and system behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or related field.
- One year of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, GoLang, or Scala.
- Experience with security services and control frameworks.
- Knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
- Familiarity with threat modeling tools and vulnerability scanning.
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools.
- Understanding of secure coding and compliance tooling.
- Background checks required.
