Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on user stories.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and Java.
- Maintain traceability from business requirements through test cases and automated scripts.
- Review test coverage and automation approaches with stakeholders and incorporate feedback.
- Track test execution milestones, risks, issues, and defects through closure.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios aligned with business objectives and goals.
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to resolve issues and drive adoption.
- Identify and manage environmental and test-data dependencies.
- Provide guidance to colleagues on test coverage and test cases.
- Maintain test environments and data, product knowledge, process compliance, and related documentation.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities and escalate issues appropriately.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of related experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with Selenium and Java.
- Extensive experience testing components based on modern scripting languages.
- Experience writing sophisticated SQL queries.
- Experience with JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience with frontend and backend testing using Java and Selenium.
- Knowledge of smoke, black-box, non-black-box, regression, functional, non-functional, performance, capacity, stress, resiliency, browser, infrastructure, and environment testing.
- Understanding of the software implementation lifecycle, testing methodologies, and testing processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Waterfall and onsite/offshore coordination models.
- Ability to work with business clients and technical teams independently and collaboratively.
- Capital markets domain experience preferred.
