Responsibilities
- Collaborate with engineers to create technical designs, develop and test solutions, and solve complex problems from initial concept through production.
- Contribute to automated build, deployment, and testing processes.
- Improve the engineering experience through brainstorming and new techniques.
- Own and solve problems end-to-end across a wide range of systems, processes, and technologies.
- Design and deliver performant, maintainable, and scalable features across frontend and backend systems.
- Demo work, research new technologies, and help advance products and platforms.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, business information systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Typically, a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Experience with legacy application migration, Java, Spring Boot microservices, micro frontends, and cloud environments.
- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Flink, or high-performance computing with Apache Spark.
- Experience with scalable software platforms, DevOps-driven automation, modern web frameworks, databases, secure cloud and SaaS services, and resilient software solutions.
- Certifications in Java, Node.js, AWS, Azure, GCP, Kubernetes, Spark, or similar areas.
- Must-have skills include Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Kafka, Kubernetes, MS SQL, Oracle, Postgres, MongoDB, React.js, Redux, and TypeScript; AWS, Azure, GCP, DynamoDB, Airflow, Spark, and Redis are beneficial.
