Responsibilities
- Design and implement resilient, scalable, and performant solutions for complex healthcare problems.
- Develop across the full application delivery stack using frontend, backend, cloud, and distributed-system technologies.
- Participate in technical and product discussions with engineering, product, and business leaders.
- Work independently while applying strong design, communication, and solution practices.
- Continuously improve engineering standards and excellence.
Requirements
- 10+ years of software development experience, including extensive experience building scalable distributed systems.
- Strong computer science foundation in algorithms, data structures, and system design for scalable web applications and backend services.
- Expertise in software engineering practices including version control, testing, and continuous integration.
- Proficiency with Node.js, Java, Spring, JavaScript or TypeScript, SQL, relational databases, and automated testing.
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: Vue.js, React, or Angular.
- Familiarity with web technologies, APIs, distributed systems, Shift Left, and test automation.
- Experience with generative AI, machine learning, and predictive algorithms.
- Familiarity with statistics and the healthcare domain.
- Expertise with distributed event-streaming platforms such as Kafka and experience with data pipeline technologies.
- Effective communication, self-motivation, ownership, initiative, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
