Base Salary
$125k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop reliable, responsive, performant web applications to command, control, and monitor thousands of Starlink assets.
- Create intuitive user interfaces that reduce operator workload and maintain strong safety guardrails.
- Collaborate with engineers on architecture, design, and code reviews.
- Partner with operations teams to understand mission needs and translate them into technical solutions.
- Investigate business problems, identify efficient solutions, and apply first-principles thinking.
- Own outcomes and maintain high standards for operational software quality.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline plus 1+ years of full-stack software experience, or 3+ years of professional full-stack software experience in lieu of a degree.
- At least 1 year of experience in full-stack development, software engineering, data engineering, or data science.
- Frontend experience with Angular, React, or a similar JavaScript framework is preferred.
- Programming experience in Python or a similar object-oriented language is preferred.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, CockroachDB, or similar relational database technologies is preferred.
- Production experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
- Experience with version control and continuous integration and continuous delivery systems is preferred.
- Experience profiling and improving application performance is preferred.
- Experience with build systems and package management tools is preferred.
- Applicants must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements.
- Must be willing to work extended hours, weekends, and nighttime or weekend on-call shifts as needed.
