Responsibilities
- Develop highly reliable software solutions for AI-powered applications across SpaceX.
- Create applications that enhance SpaceX operations using modern AI capabilities.
- Own the full lifecycle of Applied AI systems from design to production.
- Identify high-leverage AI opportunities by understanding user problems.
- Architect production systems prioritizing reliability and safety.
- Build evaluation frameworks and monitoring systems for AI quality and performance.
- Incorporate emerging best practices in AI into production systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a related field, or 2+ years of professional software experience.
- 1+ years of experience in full stack development.
- Hands-on experience with AI model evaluation and integration into production systems.
- Proven track record of delivering AI products from prototype to production.
- Deep experience with modern LLM techniques and AI observability.
- Strong software engineering foundation with clean code practices.
- Programming experience in Python, C#.NET, Go, Scala, Java, or similar.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and data streaming technologies.
- Front-end and database experience with technologies like Angular, React, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
