Responsibilities
- Design and build high-performance training and inference systems for LLMs and multimodal AI models.
- Optimize distributed training, high-throughput data pipelines, mixed precision, inference serving, KV caching, batching, quantization, and long-context processing.
- Design, right-size, and evolve internal GPU cluster infrastructure for large-scale AI workloads.
- Architect AI integrations across PAM, MAM, television, radio, studio, and media production environments.
- Evaluate and standardize MCP and A2A integration architectures for connecting AI systems with production platforms.
- Develop secure video understanding systems supporting file-based media workflows and SMPTE-2110 IP live workflows.
- Develop MLOps and LLMOps pipelines with observability, performance profiling, and automated testing.
- Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers and data scientists, and communicate AI architecture and technology strategy to decision-makers and production teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor ’s or master’s degree in software engineering, information technology, artificial intelligence, mathematics, or a related natural science field.
- Functional bilingualism in English and French is essential.
- At least five years of proven experience developing and deploying AI/ML solutions.
- At least eight years of experience building tools and platforms in a software engineering role.
- Experience with language models and designing solutions optimized for cost efficiency and scale.
- Strong understanding of LLM, RAG, and AI agent architectures, frameworks, and operational constraints.
- Experience selecting AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and orchestration tools for scalable enterprise AI solutions.
- Knowledge of ModelOps, AI engineering, DevOps, MLOps, and CI/CD practices.
- Understanding of machine learning and deep learning fundamentals.
- Strong technical documentation skills, including diagrams, demos, and technical artifacts.
- Hands-on experience with media production platforms such as MAM/PAM and scalable, highly available 24/7 environments.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, virtualization, networking, and storage.
- Preferred qualifications include experience with NVIDIA Holoscan for Media or high-performance IP transfer protocols, complex cloud or hybrid data pipelines, open-source AI contributions, published research, or security frameworks for responsible AI.
