Responsibilities
- Design and develop profiling, performance analysis, and debugging tool features.
- Collaborate with GPU hardware and software teams on performance validation and analysis.
- Debug issues and optimize the user experience of GPU developer tools.
- Work with developers, ecosystem partners, and OEMs.
- Contribute to full-stack GPU developer tools ranging from user interfaces to graphics driver instrumentation.
- Guide and mentor engineers, drive projects to completion, and uphold quality and innovation standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field plus 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience; or a master's degree plus 1+ year; or a PhD in a related field.
- At least 2 years of academic or work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Extensive programming knowledge in C/C++.
- Deep knowledge of GPU hardware and graphics concepts.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, including mentoring engineers and driving projects to completion.
- Preferred experience with Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL, WebGL, Unity, Unreal Engine, Godot, OpenCL, CUDA, or SYCL.
- Preferred experience debugging, optimizing, profiling, and tuning real-time graphics or compute applications.
- Knowledge of ray tracing, mesh shading, workgraphs, graphics trends, graphics frameworks, or GPU-enabled computing frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with Nsight, PIX, GPA, RenderDoc, Radeon Profilers, or GfxReconstruct is a plus.
