Responsibilities
- Write, test, and debug software for complex and critical components.
- Participate in design and code reviews and help define software requirements and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise, research solutions, and help resolve complex technical challenges.
- Debug and troubleshoot production issues with operations and support teams.
- Assess and support adoption of new technologies and best practices.
- Provide technical support to the team and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 2 years in a similar software engineering role.
- Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
- Strong programming, debugging, problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Ability and willingness to take ownership of complex technical challenges.
- Advanced degree, relevant certifications, or training are preferred.
