Base Salary
$190k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Architect and build the full stack of a Command & Control system for large swarms of heterogeneous aircraft.
- Design foundational systems, technical patterns, and interfaces for the Legion platform.
- Build collaborative real-time infrastructure for controlling aircraft through degraded or intermittent communications.
- Create interfaces for vehicle telemetry, sensor data, mission schedules, crew resources, data links, and other operational information.
- Take ambiguous operational problems from first principles through deployed capabilities.
- Own major features through system design, architecture, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with operators, designers, and software, autonomy, and aircraft-systems engineers.
- Ship and iterate quickly using the company’s CI/CD, QA, and DevSecOps practices.
Requirements
- A degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience building complex full-stack applications with substantial frontend and backend depth.
- Strong UI/UX instincts and the ability to apply them in production applications.
- Experience building production web interfaces with React or a comparable modern framework.
- Applicants must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual under 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or eligible to obtain required U.S. Department of State authorizations for ITAR compliance.
