Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable software components and applications.
- Build and operate payment, royalty, advances, invoicing, and financial reporting systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams and stakeholders to design and launch customer-centric solutions.
- Clarify technical requirements, estimate development work, and apply appropriate design approaches.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Improve software quality, customer experience, and product maintainability.
- Mentor and lead developers while fostering technical understanding.
- Contribute to Audible’s migration of financial systems onto Amazon’s Digital Acceleration platform.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science.
- Experience with AWS technologies.
- At least 3 years of software development and deployment experience for distributed multi-tier applications.
- Preferred experience delivering large, cross-functional, customer-facing products.
- Preferred experience leading the development of complex software or computing infrastructure delivered to customers.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex and ambiguous situations.
- Preferred full-stack proficiency with Java, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, and React.
- Ability to delegate work in parallel to accelerate delivery.
- Experience or enthusiasm for documentation, unit testing, code reviews, test automation, and continuous integration and deployment.
