Responsibilities
- Execute vehicle-level smoke, regression, integration, functional verification, bug-fix validation, and release testing.
- Perform ad-hoc and exploratory testing to assess feature maturity and software stability.
- Manage the test fleet by installing OTA updates, maintaining configurations, and instrumenting vehicles for debug and validation data.
- Triage vehicle-level issues and collaborate with engineering, integration, validation, and technician teams on root-cause analysis and resolution.
- Support vehicle preparation, upkeep, and debugging for the broader test and technician community.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in automotive software testing, test or factory operations, or automotive diagnosis and repair; 3+ years is preferred.
- Working knowledge of automotive electrical systems, CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and relevant debugging tools.
- Understanding of dependencies between electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong understanding of vehicle safety concepts and testing-related safety procedures.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving history.
- Professional prototype test-vehicle driving experience, systems engineering, automotive network architecture, and vehicle integration experience are preferred.
- Ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, collaborate cross-functionally, and work in a fast-paced development environment.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.
