Base Salary

$135k - $210k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain automated functional, performance, interoperability, and regression test cases and frameworks for eNB/gNB features
  • Analyze UE and eNB/gNB logs to debug and identify the root causes of RAN issues
  • Lead UE log collection and field testing for eNB/gNB feature development
  • Build software tools and database queries to analyze RAN performance and tune eNB/gNB parameters for KPI optimization
  • Manage and prioritize network issues and collaborate with developers to resolve them
  • Troubleshoot and maintain RAN lab infrastructure with partner teams

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline is required
  • Experience with RAN parameter configuration, optimization, and performance analysis
  • Experience using Python for test automation and data analysis, Linux, and Git repositories
  • Experience developing, executing, and managing LTE/5G-NR test cases, including test planning and results tracking
  • At least 2 years of experience with eNB/gNB and/or modem validation is preferred
  • At least 2 years of lab and/or field experience in new product introduction or product certification is preferred
  • Strong understanding of LTE and 5G-NR protocols and hands-on debugging at the PHY, MAC, and RRC layers
  • Experience with UE log analysis and QXDM or XCAL is preferred
  • Experience setting up RAN lab testbeds and performing RF troubleshooting
  • In-depth knowledge of 3GPP specifications and R17+ RAN features
  • Strong debugging, performance optimization, analytical, and engineering skills
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends when needed
  • Must satisfy applicable ITAR eligibility or authorization requirements
