Responsibilities
- Develop web and mobile interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript/Typescript.
- Design, develop, and unit test applications deployed to MS Azure.
- Collaborate with UX and product teams to plan and design system architecture.
- Ensure all committed stories for the sprint are completed.
- Reduce defects in the module/product to meet industry standards.
- Conduct peer code reviews to enhance code quality.
- Mentor junior developers in testing and development practices.
- Build high-performing teams and create development opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.
- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Expertise in object-oriented design and application development using Java/J2EE.
- Experience with elastic search and data streaming tools like Kafka.
- Good understanding of web services and SOA standards like REST/OAuth/JSON.
- Competent in Python and Bash scripting.
- Moderate experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in agile development methodologies.
- Ability to use various open-source technologies and cloud services.
- Recent development experience with Drupal, Ember, Angular 8+, Java 7+, or Python.
