Responsibilities
- Design, build, deploy, and maintain scalable features for Toast’s enterprise management products.
- Lead complex projects to enhance functionality and reliability for customers.
- Collaborate with various teams across Toast.
- Contribute to the overall quality of the Android system.
- Build automated testing to ensure quality.
- Monitor the success of rolled-out features.
- Work with UX and PM on feature definition and design.
- Mentor and coach other engineers.
- Utilize AI tools to enhance development workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor's degree required.
- 10+ years of experience in developing and maintaining Android applications.
- Experience in building backend services and APIs.
- Extensive knowledge of Java or Kotlin with a focus on testing and best practices.
- Experience in shipping production services while ensuring platform stability.
- Strong focus on delivering positive impact for customers.
- Enjoys working in a team environment with a shared code-base.
- Excellent communication skills on complex technical topics.
