Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, debugging, verification, and validation of firmware, software, and/or hardware.
- Lead day-to-day firmware development work across memory IPs and AMD SoCs.
- Work with firmware engineers, developers, and peer architects on pre-silicon and post-silicon firmware.
- Consult with internal and external customers regarding AMD features and programming requirements.
Requirements
- Multiple prior years of related firmware experience in the semiconductor industry combined with technical education.
- Strong experience with Memory PHY.
- Expert-level experience producing quality firmware.
- Experience with C, C++, DDR, and LPDDR.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is preferred.
- Creative problem-solving, technical communication, interpersonal, leadership, independent-work, and collaboration skills.
