Base Salary

Responsibilities

  • Design, configure, develop, test, maintain, and troubleshoot scalable Salesforce solutions for government mission requirements.
  • Configure Salesforce objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, permissions, sharing, security controls, and Salesforce Flow.
  • Develop custom Salesforce functionality using Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, and related Salesforce technologies.
  • Gather requirements from government leads and product owners, clarify scope, translate business needs into technical solutions, and support release planning.
  • Design and support integrations between Salesforce, external systems, middleware, APIs, and AWS services.
  • Participate in CI/CD, DevOps, source-control, testing, deployment, and release-management processes.
  • Investigate configuration, code, integration, performance, and deployment issues and document root causes and remediation.
  • Collaborate with AWS/cloud engineers, DevOps teams, QA, business analysts, and other technical stakeholders.
  • Support federal security, governance, auditability, compliance, background-investigation, and security-clearance requirements.
  • Present technical briefings to government stakeholders and produce technical documentation and decision-support materials.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Information Systems Management, Math, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field, plus at least five years of relevant experience; seven years of related work experience may substitute for the degree.
  • Hands-on Salesforce development and configuration experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, Salesforce Flow, SOQL, data modeling, objects, fields, relationships, validation rules, permissions, sharing, and security.
  • Experience designing or supporting Salesforce integrations with external applications using APIs or middleware.
  • Experience with Salesforce products such as Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, Experience Cloud, or MuleSoft is preferred.
  • Salesforce certification such as Platform Developer I, Salesforce Administrator, Platform App Builder, or a relevant Consultant certification is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with AWS cloud services or Salesforce solutions integrated with AWS is highly preferred; AWS certifications are preferred.
  • Familiarity with AWS Lambda, S3, API Gateway, IAM, EC2, EventBridge, and other cloud services is beneficial.
  • Experience with CI/CD, source control, and deployment automation, including tools such as Git, Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, CopADO, Salesforce CLI/SFDX, Terraform, or CloudFormation, is preferred.
  • Federal or public-sector experience and familiarity with FedRAMP, ATO, NIST 800-53, or other federal security and compliance requirements are preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work with technical and government stakeholders are required.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, pass Cherokee Federal pre-employment qualifications, and be able to obtain and maintain a required background investigation or security clearance.
