Base Salary
$80k - $105k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain scalable automated test frameworks and support infrastructure for instrument and system-level testing.
- Create reusable test libraries, device interfaces, protocol libraries, utilities, and common automation components for instrument platforms and downstream integrations.
- Contribute to system and product test strategies focused on automation, repeatability, scalability, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with development teams to improve system testability, observability, interfaces, communication protocols, and diagnostic capabilities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, test automation, software verification, or a related engineering discipline using automated testing tools and scripting languages.
- Experience with Git, automated testing tools, scripting languages, and software development practices.
- Familiarity with defect tracking and test management tools.
- Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle and Agile development methodologies.
- Strong debugging, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred experience includes medical-device or regulated-industry work; IEC 62304, ISO 13485, FDA Quality System Regulation, healthcare interoperability or messaging standards such as HL7 and WCTP; and cloud or container-orchestration platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes.
