Responsibilities
- Work on agents, prompts, evals, and direct agent tools from ideation to productization.
- Help conceptualize and build innovative user flows and experiences within Datadog's user space.
- Prototype solutions, iterate with users, and ship effective tools.
- Stay updated on the latest research in LLM prompt optimization and code editing.
- Support other product teams in building and productionizing developer-focused AI workflows.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience as a backend engineer.
- Experience shipping software that utilizes large language models in production.
- Passion for generative AI and its impact on software engineering productivity.
- Relevant experience with large-scale systems, machine learning, or adjacent fields.
- Strong communication skills to drive technical discussions towards solutions.
- Experience with developer tools such as IDEs or static code analysis.
- BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
