Base Salary
$156k - $182k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and ship features across frontend applications, real-time systems, and backend infrastructure.
- Create data pipelines and internal tools for adding sources and maintaining sector coverage.
- Improve agent-based parsing and extraction systems for capability and reliability.
- Own projects end to end, including data inspection, quality assurance, instrumentation, production releases, and debugging.
- Develop a company ontology and an earnings research product.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience building, shipping, and operating production systems, with up to approximately 7 years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience building and deploying agentic AI systems or LLM-based applications in production, including recent AI project work.
- Full-stack experience with Python backend development, FastAPI or an equivalent framework, data pipelines, TypeScript, and React.
- Experience with ETL, data modeling, SQL, relational database design and optimization, and PostgreSQL or similar systems.
- Experience with AWS, real-time data systems, observability, monitoring, and debugging distributed systems.
- Strong ownership, sound judgment about when to use AI agents versus deterministic systems, and willingness to work across unfamiliar technologies.
- Financial research, capital markets, investment banking, or broader financial services experience is helpful.
- Familiarity with modern data tools, edge infrastructure, or AI/ML tooling is a plus.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and able to work on-site in New York City; full-time commitment is required.
Benefits
- Base salary of $156,000 to $182,000 annually.
- On-site in New York City five days per week.
