Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive, accessible, and high-performing frontend modules using React, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, backend developers, and QA teams to deliver production-ready features.
- Apply unit and integration testing, clean-code practices, and automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Lead technical discussions and contribute to architecture decisions involving state management, component design, routing, performance, and frontend security.
- Build reusable UI components and design systems across multiple platforms.
- Perform code reviews and uphold coding, accessibility, and performance standards.
- Diagnose and resolve frontend issues involving rendering, memory leaks, bundle size, and browser compatibility.
- Integrate monitoring, observability, and feedback loops into frontend workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers through pair programming, feedback, and knowledge sharing.
- Stay current with frontend technologies and industry developments.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- At least 6 years of professional software development experience, including at least 4 years of React.js-focused frontend development.
- Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, ES6+, Webpack, Redux, React Router, Axios, and Styled Components.
- Experience with Jest, Cypress, React Testing Library, Git, and CI/CD integrations.
- Understanding of DOM manipulation, event handling, asynchronous programming, RESTful APIs, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Familiarity with micro-frontend architectures, module federation, Webpack 5, Nx, and Turborepo is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of frontend performance optimization, including code splitting, lazy loading, caching strategies, and SEO for single-page applications.
- Understanding of client-side security practices, including XSS mitigation, CSP policies, and secure token handling.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
