Base Salary
$177k - $239k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design end-to-end AI/ML and cloud architectures spanning model training, fine-tuning, inference, evaluation, data pipelines, and MLOps.
- Advise customer leadership on AI strategy, technology choices, trade-offs, responsible AI, governance, bias, security, scalability, and cost.
- Lead technical solution discussions, architecture reviews, proofs of concept, workshops, hands-on labs, presentations, blog posts, and reference architecture development.
- Collaborate with sales, engineering, professional services, science, and product teams to accelerate adoption and improve AI/ML products and services.
- Mentor fellow architects and share reusable technical patterns and customer feedback across the broader team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in specific technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, or data and analytics.
- 3+ years of experience in application and infrastructure design, implementation, or consulting.
- 8+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
- Experience with machine learning and large language model fundamentals, including model architecture, training and inference lifecycles, and optimization, or experience across the full software development lifecycle.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform and its AI/ML services, such as SageMaker, Bedrock, or equivalents.
- Preferred: experience architecting or operating solutions built on AWS.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience in specific technology domains and 2+ years of practical machine learning experience.
