Responsibilities

Research, design, code, test, and deploy firmwide platforms and tooling.
Develop scalable and efficient software supporting large-scale quantitative research.
Design and develop large-scale distributed systems and high-performance applications.
Apply data structures, algorithms, and concurrency patterns to complex technical challenges.
Collaborate with quantitative researchers and other technologists.
Work with systems for graph computation and streaming or dataflow processing when applicable.

At least 7 years of experience writing production-quality Python code on Linux.
Willingness to learn C++; prior C++ experience is strongly preferred.
Solid understanding of Linux system programming fundamentals.
Proven ability to design and develop large-scale distributed systems.
Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, high-performance application design, and concurrency patterns.
Strong interest in machine learning, deep learning, and backtesting platform design and development; prior experience is beneficial but not required.
Ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Proficiency in English.
Experience with large-scale graph data computation, streaming systems, or dataflow systems is preferred.
Financial services experience is a plus but is not required.
