Responsibilities
- Perform analysis, design, development, testing, and implementation for new or enhanced middleware services.
- Maintain middleware modules and services in accordance with code quality standards.
- Keep applications free of security vulnerabilities and comply with organizational security policies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and recommend preventative measures.
- Incorporate meaningful improvements and enhancements.
- Assist with or lead technical documentation and store it in shared repositories such as Confluence or SharePoint.
- Collaborate with onshore and offshore development teams.
Requirements
- 6+ years of hands-on Java/J2EE development experience.
- Expertise in Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Spring Security, Spring Data, and RESTful APIs.
- Frontend experience with ReactJS.
- Working knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar message brokers.
- Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL.
- Strong unit testing skills with JUnit.
- Experience with Maven and Nexus.
- Familiarity with Postman and PCF (Pivotal Cloud Foundry).
- Experience addressing security vulnerabilities and managing open-source dependencies.
- Experience maintaining code quality with SonarQube.
- Version control and CI/CD experience using GitLab.
- Proficiency with Atlassian tools including JIRA and Confluence.
- Solid understanding of Linux environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience with JIRA integrations and custom workflows, Splunk, and finance or banking is advantageous.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, written, and verbal communication skills.
