Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, and test the OESIS Framework in C++ across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
- Implement support for third-party security applications using Python, PowerShell, Lua, Squirrel, and similar scripting languages.
- Own features from requirements clarification and design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Use Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, and other AI coding assistants and agentic tools for development, refactoring, testing, and debugging.
- Develop AI-assisted engineering workflows, reusable prompts and skills, and review standards for AI-generated code.
- Prototype AI-powered endpoint security capabilities such as LLM-assisted endpoint posture analysis, automated detection-gap triage, and support for onboarding third-party applications.
- Research and apply technologies to enhance existing features or develop new functionality.
- Participate in peer code reviews and design reviews, leading them at the senior level.
- Collaborate with Product Management and QA to deliver product requirements.
- Mentor and coach junior engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 3–5+ years of professional experience with feature ownership and mentoring for senior-level scope.
- Understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, and common design patterns.
- Experience with multithreaded programming, system design, code and design reviews, and debugging large codebases across operating-system boundaries.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants and agentic tools in real development work, including reviewing, verifying, and testing generated code.
- Working knowledge of LLM fundamentals including prompt and context design, tool or function calling, output evaluation, and data privacy for proprietary code.
- Development experience on Windows, Linux, and/or macOS platforms.
- Preferred experience with Python, Squirrel, Lua, or similar scripting languages; Anthropic or OpenAI APIs; MCP, RAG, or agent frameworks; native operating-system APIs; cybersecurity; DBMS technologies; and Agile/Scrum.
