Responsibilities

  • Architect and implement an extensible integration framework for vendor endpoint-management APIs.
  • Build cross-platform native SDK binaries and clean external API/header surfaces for customer products.
  • Develop and maintain connectors for CrowdStrike Falcon, Microsoft Graph/Intune, JAMF Pro, and future platforms.
  • Implement retries, backoff, rate-limit handling, partial-failure recovery, and API version migrations.
  • Define SDK packaging, distribution, ABI/API compatibility, semantic versioning, and installer/package formats.
  • Own public developer documentation and reference implementations for partner and customer teams.
  • Set technical direction for the internal data contract, authentication-token interface, and SDK API strategy.
  • Participate in technical design reviews and potentially lead a 2–4 person engineering pod.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience, including at least 2 years building or deeply integrating production-scale REST APIs.
  • Strong experience with C, C++, Rust, or Go for embeddable native SDK binaries and cross-platform builds.
  • Hands-on experience with CrowdStrike Falcon API, Microsoft Graph API, JAMF Pro API, or a comparable UEM, EDR, or MDM API.
  • Experience designing SDKs or libraries consumed by external developers or OEM partners.
  • Strong understanding of API contract design, semantic versioning, backward compatibility, and deprecation strategy.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines that produce multi-platform binary artifacts.
  • Cybersecurity, endpoint security, UEM, ZTNA, device posture, compliance, vulnerability management, or patch-management experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with PCI-DSS, SOX, HIPPA, CVE, NVD, or SCAP is preferred.
  • Prior experience leading a small engineering pod is preferred.
