Responsibilities
- Design, build, run, and improve backend services and microservice frameworks.
- Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
- Improve engineering efficiency through common libraries, tooling, and platforms.
- Contribute to the smart marketplace ecosystem of products and services.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience in Golang, or the ability to learn it quickly.
- Production experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages, including Node.js, Python, Java, or JavaScript ES6.
- Experience with at least two data systems, such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch, Redis, Kafka, or Cassandra.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with microservices and event-driven architecture.
- Experience in one or more of web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed systems, machine learning, networking, or developing large software systems.
- A BA or MA degree in engineering, computer science, or another technical field, or experience as a competitive programmer.
