Responsibilities

  • Convert business requirements into services with solid code and meaningful tests in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot incidents proactively.
  • Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
  • Follow engineering best practices and advocate for engineering excellence.
  • Collaborate with other engineering teams and mentor junior team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
  • At least 4 years of professional experience building high-throughput distributed applications.
  • Proficiency in core Java and the Spring Framework.
  • Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
  • Proficiency in distributed system design and familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles.
  • Ability to learn quickly, perform under pressure, and collaborate with remote teams across time zones.
  • Performance tuning experience involving the JVM, SQL, or RPC is desirable.
  • Experience in KYC or compliance is desirable.
