Responsibilities
- Convert business requirements into services with solid code and meaningful tests.
- Perform performance tuning and troubleshoot incidents.
- Write and maintain high-quality technical documentation.
- Follow engineering best practices and advocate for engineering excellence.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams and mentor junior team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- At least 4 years of professional experience building high-throughput distributed applications.
- Proficiency in core Java and the Spring Framework.
- Proficiency in MySQL and familiarity with at least one NoSQL database.
- Proficiency in distributed system design and familiarity with at least one messaging middleware and its underlying design principles.
- Ability to learn quickly, perform under pressure, and collaborate with remote teams across time zones.
- Bilingual English/Mandarin communication ability is required.
- JVM, SQL, or RPC performance tuning experience is desirable.
- KYC or compliance experience is a plus.
