Responsibilities
- Design, develop, troubleshoot, and maintain secure, high-quality production software solutions.
- Create architecture and design artifacts for complex applications and ensure software meets design constraints.
- Analyze large and diverse data sets to produce visualizations and reporting that improve applications and systems.
- Identify hidden problems and data patterns to improve coding hygiene and system architecture.
- Participate in software engineering communities of practice and explore emerging technologies.
- Use authorized AI-assisted development and automation tools for coding, testing, troubleshooting, refactoring, and documentation while validating their outputs.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 2+ years of applied experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Hands-on experience with system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages and experience with database querying languages.
- Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, application resiliency, security, and related technical processes.
- Hands-on experience with authorized AI-assisted software development tools and the ability to critically evaluate and validate AI-generated outputs.
- Understanding of responsible AI use, data sensitivity, secure input/output handling, resiliency, and security expectations.
- Preferred familiarity with modern front-end technologies and cloud technologies.
