Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend and frontend services using Node.js, Python, and React.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, product managers, QA, Customer Support, and other engineers to deliver software solutions.
- Architect and implement new features and services that meet business requirements.
- Write clean, maintainable, well-documented, and testable code following software development best practices.
- Lead code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, backend issues, customer incidents, bugs, and requests.
- Optimize applications for speed, scalability, security, and data protection.
- Contribute to improvements in development, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Use AI tools such as code assistants, automated testing tools, and log analyzers to streamline development and operations.
- Participate in team discussions, planning sessions, and retrospectives.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in web application development.
- Deep understanding of building high-performance, decoupled, testable, and maintainable code.
- Experience designing architecture and maintaining software at scale in a software-as-a-service environment.
- Expertise in backend development using Node.js and SQL databases.
- Excellent JavaScript and Node.js skills.
- Proficiency working with React; experience with React Hooks is a plus.
- Experience in UI/UX development.
- Experience with GraphQL is a plus.
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform services is a plus.
- Strong understanding of software development and design principles including DRY, KISS, and SOLID.
- Good English communication, organization, problem-solving, teamwork, and leadership skills.
