Responsibilities
- Own and improve machine learning models for the Home feed.
- Design and ship personalized recommendations for Spotify listeners.
- Build content recommendation systems for AI-powered user experiences.
- Train and optimize large language models using advanced techniques.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers on experimentation strategies.
- Drive A/B testing and continuous optimization of recommendation quality.
- Enhance ML platform capabilities and data pipelines for personalization.
- Mentor and support other machine learning engineers.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in building and deploying machine learning systems.
- Deep expertise in recommendation systems and large-scale content discovery.
- Strong proficiency in Python and experience with PyTorch.
- Experience with large language model training and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with large-scale inference systems and their challenges.
- Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience in designing and interpreting online experiments and A/B tests.
- Knowledge of distributed machine learning workloads and orchestration technologies.
