Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with lead architects, business SMEs, data scientists, product owners, and functional teams to understand data requirements.
  • Design and develop end-to-end data pipelines that extract, transform, and load data from varied sources and formats into an enterprise data lake.
  • Build infrastructure and analytics tools using Python, SQL, and AWS.
  • Identify and implement task automation opportunities and develop reusable frameworks.
  • Participate in designing, building, and developing rapid proof-of-concept solutions and services.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years old and available to work full time for the internship.
  • Have graduated with a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
  • Be enrolled in an accredited MBA, master’s, PharmD, or PhD program and complete the first year before the internship begins.
  • Be located in the United States for the duration of the internship and remain enrolled after the program.
  • Be able to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
  • Preferred qualifications include first-year master’s study in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field; one or more years of relevant work experience; and biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare industry experience.
  • Preferred qualifications include proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, or SQL and intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Preferred coursework includes business systems analysis, Lean, Agile/Scrum and other SDLC processes, software development, database modeling, web design and development, IT management, cloud-based application management, B2B collaboration, ERP, and CRM systems.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal, project management, analytical, quantitative, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and resourceful qualities.
