Responsibilities
- Assist with the design, development, testing, and automation of scalable data ingestion, transformation, model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Clean, prepare, and analyze structured and unstructured data with data engineers and scientists.
- Analyze pharmaceutical commercial datasets and apply statistical techniques including hypothesis testing, regression, and classification.
- Create visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Support implementation and monitoring of ML models in production environments.
- Document technical processes, models, and tools and participate in experimentation with data engineering and MLOps technologies.
- Participate in team agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and currently enrolled full time in a bachelor’s degree program at an accredited college or university with a minimum 3.0 GPA or equivalent.
- Complete at least one year of study before the internship, remain enrolled afterward, and be located in the United States for the internship duration.
- Be available to work full time and commit to potential future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
- Preferred fields include Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- Preferred qualifications include foundational Python or R, data manipulation and machine learning libraries, cloud platform exposure, SQL, Git, statistical modeling, NLP or time-series coursework, and familiarity with Databricks, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow.
- Preferred qualifications also include biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or healthcare experience; Microsoft Office proficiency; analytical, quantitative, communication, project management, and interpersonal skills; and coursework in software development, databases, cloud applications, enterprise systems, or related areas.
