Responsibilities
- Assist with designing, developing, and testing scalable data pipelines for ingestion and transformation into enterprise data lakes and warehouses.
- Clean, prepare, and analyze structured and unstructured data with data engineers and scientists.
- Support automation of model training, evaluation, and deployment pipelines.
- Analyze pharmaceutical commercial datasets and develop data-driven insights.
- Create visualizations and dashboards for internal stakeholders.
- Apply hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and other statistical techniques.
- Help implement and monitor machine learning models in production environments.
- Document technical processes, models, and tools.
- Experiment with data engineering and ML operations tools and techniques.
- Participate in team planning and retrospective activities.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years old and available to work full time in the United States for the internship.
- Have graduated with a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Be currently enrolled in an eligible MBA, master's, PharmD, or PhD program and complete the first year before the internship starts.
- Be in the process of completing the first year of a master's program in information technology, computer science, engineering, business, or a related field.
- Have one or more years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Have foundational Python or R experience, including data manipulation, visualization, and machine learning libraries.
- Have exposure to AWS, GCP, or Azure through coursework or personal projects.
- Have a basic understanding of SQL and experience querying relational or big data sources.
- Have familiarity with Git and collaborative coding practices; Databricks, Apache Spark, or Apache Airflow familiarity is a plus.
- Have interest or coursework in NLP, time-series analysis, or statistical modeling.
- Have intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred.
- Demonstrate analytical, quantitative, communication, interpersonal, initiative, adaptability, and resourcefulness skills.
- Have coursework in relevant business systems, software development, database, cloud, enterprise systems, or SDLC areas preferred.
- Be available to accept and commit to future full-time employment by July 2028 if offered.
