Base Salary
$80k - $128k/yr
Responsibilities
- Validate ESA Section 7 compliance, including decision logic, template completeness, and consultation routing.
- Develop and maintain application-layer production migration runbook components, including deployment, verification, and rollback procedures.
- Lead remediation and root-cause analysis for critical and high-severity application defects.
- Monitor production availability, species-list accuracy, logic performance, and user-reported issues after deployment.
- Incorporate live consultation feedback into system updates and contribute to production deployment reports and operational playbooks.
- Enforce code reviews and maintain application code in the version-controlled repository.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of professional experience, master’s degree and 6 years, associate’s degree and 10 years, or high school diploma/equivalent and 12 years of professional experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
- Extensive experience supporting compliance validation for federal regulatory systems.
- Experience developing and executing production migration runbooks and rollback procedures.
- Experience with REST API integration and application-layer monitoring for production federal systems.
- Strong defect remediation and root-cause analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or equivalent backend development languages.
- Preferred qualifications include a computer science, systems engineering, enterprise architecture, or related technical degree; TOGAF or equivalent certification; experience with Databricks, Delta Lake, AWS cloud data lakehouse architecture, natural-resource agency IT environments, or ESA Section 7 compliance systems; and an active Public Trust clearance.
