Responsibilities
- Be part of a world-class research engineering team to enhance ultra-realistic AV simulations using foundation models.
- Collaborate with teams in Waymo Oxford to improve simulation realism using large models.
- Design experiments that push the frontiers of AV simulations.
- Develop metrics to measure the realism of simulated environments.
- Train and evaluate large models and integrate them into the simulator and its applications.
- Assist in hiring outstanding research engineers from diverse backgrounds.
- Collaborate within a team to productionize research ideas.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in applied Deep Learning.
- 4+ years of coding and design skills.
- Experience solving complex production problems with state-of-the-art ML techniques.
- Experience in taking research to production.
- Expertise in Data Analysis or Data Science.
