Responsibilities
- Own and evolve AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure with Terraform for scalability, reliability, and security.
- Design, automate, and optimize GitLab CI pipelines with embedded SAST and DAST security controls.
- Lead monitoring, observability, incident response, and resolution initiatives using tools such as Datadog.
- Implement cloud security practices including IAM, RBAC, vulnerability management, and infrastructure hardening.
- Drive patch management, threat detection, and credential leak prevention using tools such as GuardDuty and Falco.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture, security audits, and compliance efforts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps/SRE and 3+ years in security-focused roles.
- Proven experience securing cloud-native systems at scale.
- Deep hands-on production experience with AWS and Kubernetes, including IAM and RBAC models.
- High proficiency with Terraform and GitLab CI, plus coding experience in Go, Python, or JavaScript.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and working knowledge of data pipelines and ETL processes such as AWS Glue.
- Expertise in cloud security, monitoring, and observability, including Datadog, GuardDuty, Falco, or similar tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, comfort working in Agile environments, and fluency in English.
