Base Salary

$155k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deliver software improvements for enterprise applications.
  • Address software defects, technical debt, performance challenges, and reliability risks.
  • Develop scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications in distributed or cloud-based environments.
  • Apply automated testing, source control, CI/CD, observability, and application lifecycle management practices.
  • Use AI-enabled development tools or automated code analysis to improve software quality and developer productivity.
  • Collaborate with developers, technical leads, and architects on application modernization and scalable software delivery.
  • Influence engineering standards, development practices, and technical outcomes across teams.

Requirements

  • At least 8 years of software engineering experience designing, developing, testing, and supporting enterprise applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Java and modern software engineering practices.
  • Experience with scalable, reliable, and maintainable applications in distributed or cloud-based environments.
  • Experience troubleshooting and remediating defects, technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability risks.
  • Experience with SDLC practices, automated testing, source control, CI/CD, observability, and application lifecycle management.
  • Experience using AI-enabled development tools or automated code analysis.
  • Ability to collaborate across engineering teams and adapt to changing technical and business priorities.
  • Preferred experience with application modernization, resiliency engineering, technical debt reduction, performance optimization, cloud-native applications, distributed applications, or event-driven applications.
