Base Salary
$126k - $143k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications and services using Spring and Spring Boot.
- Build and integrate REST APIs supporting high-volume transactions in highly available environments.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions.
- Own assigned features through design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Write automated unit and integration tests, participate in code reviews, and troubleshoot application issues.
- Create technical documentation, design diagrams, and API specifications.
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and distributed development teams to deliver project and release commitments.
- Contribute to risk management systems and improvements in application performance, scalability, and delivery practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 5 years of professional software development experience, including hands-on Java and Spring Framework development.
- Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful web services, and enterprise application development.
- Experience designing and implementing application features and resolving complex technical problems.
- Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with automated testing, Git, Bamboo, and CI/CD practices.
- Experience deploying and supporting applications on Pivotal Cloud Foundry or a comparable cloud platform.
- Working knowledge of Kafka or RabbitMQ and non-relational databases such as MongoDB is preferred.
- Experience using Rally, Jira, and Confluence and supporting high-volume, highly available enterprise applications is preferred.
- Ability to work independently, collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders, and communicate effectively in verbal and written form.
