Base Salary
$201k - $254k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead research and development of pCTR and conversion prediction models.
- Design and implement debiasing techniques to address systematic prediction biases.
- Contribute to the next-generation Multi-Domain Multi-Task model architecture.
- Drive sequence modeling initiatives including the TIGER generative retrieval system.
- Collaborate with the ML community on Foundation Models using autoregressive user behavior prediction.
- Formulate and scope ambiguous modeling problems from first principles.
- Publish and present findings internally and contribute to the team's technical culture.
Requirements
- PhD/Master in machine learning, statistics, computer science, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience applying ML to ranking, recommendation, or prediction problems.
- Deep understanding of CTR/conversion prediction modeling and relevant architectures.
- Strong foundation in causal inference and training data bias mitigation.
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and Tensorflow.
- Track record of formulating ambiguous problems into well-scoped ML research directions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
