Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and operate software solutions for real-time, low-latency communications.
- Ship multiple projects and take responsibility for core features and services delivered to users.
- Work on distributed computing, real-time DSP and audio processing, virtualization performance, distributed messaging, and related systems.
- Improve coding skills and use issue-tracking and source-control systems while participating in an agile development environment.
- Participate in code reviews, bug tracking, and project management with the Twilio team.
Requirements
- Be currently working toward a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Have a strong interest in software development, including side projects or open-source involvement.
- Demonstrate willingness to learn new technologies and an entrepreneurial, can-do approach.
- Have explored writing code in Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, or C++.
- Preferred qualifications include knowledge of unit and integration testing, testing-framework development, debugging, and deployment.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in data processing, analytics, business intelligence, reporting, Hadoop, Spark, Python, or Scala.
