Base Salary
$210k - $240k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain large-scale backend systems focused on performance, reliability, and scalability
- Work with product managers and stakeholders to define roadmaps and implement features addressing product and customer needs
- Architect and develop systems from the ground up
- Navigate ambiguous problem domains and prioritize effectively
- Mentor and lead engineers while helping grow the team
- Deliver high-quality projects consistently
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience with a proven record of shipping successful projects
- Experience building large-scale systems in a cloud-native environment, preferably AWS
- Strong command of at least one programming language, preferably Go and/or Java
- Experience designing large-scale systems, maintaining high-quality codebases, and delivering challenging projects on schedule
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers
- Ability to collaborate and compromise to achieve efficient outcomes
- Strong communication skills and ability to align cross-functional stakeholders
- Fintech experience is preferred
- Ability to work with high autonomy in a fluid environment is preferred
