Responsibilities
- Serve as Apple’s primary technical liaison to the worldwide software developer community.
- Guide third-party engineers in building, debugging, optimizing, testing, and distributing apps across Apple platforms.
- Mentor developers and help solve application development challenges.
- Use advanced debugging and performance-analysis techniques to identify and resolve issues.
- Develop and share technical knowledge while taking ownership of a technology or problem space.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience developing apps for Apple platforms in Swift or Objective-C.
- Proven experience developing native apps with Xcode, Swift, and Objective-C.
- Experience using SwiftUI and UIKit to build apps for Apple platforms including iOS, watchOS, iPadOS, visionOS, tvOS, or macOS.
- Experience with Swift concurrency, Swift memory management, and state management for SwiftUI and UIKit interoperability.
- Strong familiarity with Apple developer workflows, including application development, testing, and distribution.
- Experience building and shipping apps across Apple platforms.
- Excellent debugging skills using Sysdiagnose, backtrace, LLDB, and Xcode Instruments.
- Strong understanding of computer science and software engineering best practices.
- Active engagement with the Apple and/or Swift developer community.
- Preferred experience with Apple Push Notification service, Core Bluetooth, Core NFC, Core Location, Core Motion, Live Activities, Local Notifications, Focus, App Attest, and Passkeys.
